Internals Explained
I added a new article about water gun internals, available here. It briefly explains the function of each part and offers addition reading for those who are interested. It also has a simple script that shows the layout of the parts in three guns--the Arctic Blast, XP 310, and CPS 2100.

Good one. Only thing I would suggest is a "Back to top" link after each bookmark.

Good point. I added those as well as organized the images better in tables.

This is a good idea that will certainly help people out when they're learning about the parts of water guns. The article is short, simple, too the point, and the graphics really help you understand what's going on. I wish I had this back in 2002.

Re: Internals Explained
The plan for this one was to try to make an article that explains the same stuff you learn by opening up and watching the gun in action. Hopefully it does that. I also wanted it to serve as a bit of reference of what the manufacturers for parts like the firing valve opening assembly and triggers. As we approach more stock-like homemades, we'll need to see what was done before.
