I wondered today, how do you pronounce the numbers such as in CPS 2500? Is there a standard that I don't know about?

Personally, I generally say each digit:

e.g.

2500 = two-five-o-o
110 = one-one-o

but

2000 = two thousand

I say:

2500: Twenty - five - hundred
110: one-ten

and

2000: two - thousand

I'm sometimes like Racer but I would say the XP- One Hundred Ten although I now see "One Ten" makes for sense

I do it like BlueSmudge does, it doesn't matter to me because it's just a number. Most of the time I'll say it like twenty-seven hundred.

I say it like pretty much everyone else does (twenty-seven hundred), but, as my main gun is now a Blazer, I've taken to calling guns by the names I give them (example: My Blazer is the Red Baron)

This is the reason why I liked back in the day when it was simple to pronounce the name of your soaker. Super Soaker Fifty, Super Soaker One-Hundred, etc. Even with the XP guns they had them in the hundreds so it was simple enough to call it the Ex-P one-fifty. I guess I understand why they decided to bring the CPS line into the thousands, to emphasize their immense power. But it still confuses things, especially with the numbers inbetween 1,000 and 2,000 for instance. I know I definately pronounced my CPS soakers incorrectly, as "CPS one-fifty" (CPS 1500) or "CPS two-seventy" (CPS 2700).

Funny for this topic to be resurrected, since I was thinking about this the other day. I supposed I've changed slightly, since I would might well say "one-five-double-o" for my 1500, and "one-ten" for a 110.
