APH air tank placement?
I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to water guns, so help me out here. To make an APH more ergonomic I want to rotate the air tanks almost all of the way upside down on it to save space. Would this work? I don't want to waste my money on a bunch of PVC and not have my gun work at all.

That will work if you put the output of the pressure chamber facing towards you, like in the Max-Infusion Overload. I did something similar (horizontal PC) in my thread, "really compact APH" I haven't built it yet though.
Sorry if I'm not active much, busy on another forum and another project non-soaker related.

The problem with air pressure guns is that when you start to rotate them, they become less and less effective, as the air cannot push the water out the nozzle if the water isn't between the air and the output.
Eventually they will shoot absolutely no water, but it only depends on where you place the output of the pressure chambers.

I reject your reality and substitute my own.
Quack damn you.

Yeah, the outlet from an air pressure chamber has to be at the bottom.
The best way I think to make the APH design more compact would be to play with the location of the pump. That's where the "wasted" space is. Figure out a way to bring the pump up and forward and the design becomes more compact.

I work on Windows. My toolbox is Linux.

My pump in my blueprints was right next to the barrel. Haven't built it yet though. My blueprints kinda looks like a FAMAS.
