The 1-3-5 is excellent if you can find it for a good price (which it is almost certain that you will) and don't mind making a few easy modifications to it. Otherwise it's about as useful as the average XP.

I just found a CPS 2000 in the trash! It is a Mk 2, and while it is a bit scuffed, everything works perfectly. Until now, my biggest soaker was my Vanquisher. The 2000's a beast.

Dang! That's lucky... I wish I could find a CPS blaster in a trash pile...

My biggest soaker is a CPS 2700 (Not counting my massive APH.). I need to get some more CPS blasters somehow.

I'm not sure about that. I've seen some on ebay that go for as low as 99 cents. And of course there's always yard sales. I've brought 2 SS50s from a yard sale for $10. Or I could get lucky and find one at the dump.

I am planning to make a CPH sometime as well. That said, congratulations on your find soakernerd.

I have added a CPS 2000 MK2 and a CPS 2500, all in really good condition.
And today I added a CPS 2700. First I opened it and cleaned the whole inside area...there was even a spider net in it!(wtf...)Then I lubricated the pump and the trigger. NExt thing was to open pressure chamber to replace the spring, which closes the trigger.
In the end I did some tuning: k-modd(8 pieces special ballons, work really nice^^ And its chamber have a volume of 900(!)ml...
At last I put in a steal pipe into the pump-rod, so it will not break.

Then I closed everything and tried it. Haha, I thought I finished but suddenly the nozzle-selector broke of while changing nozzle...So I had to replace the nozzle selector's attachment...
After some cosmetic clean I finished and it works great now :)

I just received a SS Monster X, a gun for which I've been almost daily searching for 1.5 years now. I absolutely love it! I think it is the best looking and most versatile blaster out there.

Good find, glad to see you back.
I picked up another 1000, only $7.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
Quack damn you.

My new Monster X, images and internals:
(I opened it up for cleaning and basic preventive meintenance. It was quite easy to open, with no impossible spots. The outer shell was slightly glued in two places but it came loose easily with minimum force.

It has been ages ago since I saw these in the shops here. Never seen them at ISoaker/SSCental either.
