Well, the hose gives you plenty of choice. I reckon the pressure chamber would go well below the reservoir, with the pump below that. Consider using expanded polystyrene or balsa shaped to fill the gaps.

Arsenal:
Super Soaker: XP215, 2xXP220, Liquidator, Aquashock Secret Strike M(odded), Arctic Blast M, CPS1200, CPS2100, SC Power Pak, 3l aquapack, 1.5l aquapack
Water Warriors: Jet, Sting Ray M, Shark, Argon M, Tiger Shark, PulseMaster
Others: Waterbolt, The Blaster, Storm 500, Shield Blaster 2000, generic PR gun, generic backpack piston pumper (broken), 3l garden sprayer M, 10l water carrier:

but the pc has to go behind the nozzle. aka i have a useless hose. unless i go buy more for the pc. but it would increase space between the pc and nozzle, making it less effective

My drawing is crude, but it shows the general idea. You have the reservoir at the top, the pressure chamber, firing valve, and nozzle below it, and the pump below that. The hose you have is plenty long enough for the route shown. And actually makes the gun perhaps more compact than it would otherwise have been.

Actually, if i can find large enough ABS, i could probably encase everything minus the pump, and make it removable. that would make this look a lot better.

I remember brainstorming something like this... *digs through personal archives* Ah ha! Found it!

There will be either one or two sealed rods, if two connected, coming out of the back to pull the piston back into place after shots, with a mark on them when to stop.
Sad that I wasn't able to make this before someone made something like it. Stupid low budget...

I have been thinking about that for a while as well:
Here is a thread I made a while back
Pessimist: These blasters hold no water
Optimist: But their small output means they last just as long
Marketing: Huge blasts of water!
user: I shot it at an angle and it went a whole ten feet!

Oh man. I totally forgot about this. I dropped it a few weeks ago, so the reservoir broke off. but its fixable. And I'm using a spring instead of air pressure. [K25 or 26, if anyone is wondering.]

EDIT: Its still not finished. I plan to have it ready by next summer.
