Remember, things might not be exactly as described. The rings might fit too tightly, and come off in the pump. Or the might be too loose, and spill water all over you.

Re: SuperCannon 2 based water gun
No, because the rings will be attatched with epoxy, so if they are too loose, the water slips in between the ring and the pump container, and if they are too tight, they will get pulled off eventually.

I just realized that I never answered you. Sorry about that. I was talking about the bigger one, 'cause Fredcompany was saying it would be too heavy. I didn't even know you were making a smaller one at the time.mysterio wrote:@SEAL are you talking about the big one or the smaller one?
Anyway good luck on building your blaster.

Re: SuperCannon 2 based water gun
some pics so far. (yes, i know its a horrible design)
its basically all of the frame glued together. the tee right underneath the large black reservoir is where the pump should be. its gonna be an over-the-shoulder type thing, really crazy/intimidating. i also ordered pieces for the pump today, shipping monday morning. thats about it.

Re: SuperCannon 2 based water gun
So the valve I see is the nozzle valve I assume? If so, why the tee behind it? That will hurt performance.
The general idea is good. The long hose could also hurt performance, but the freedom of more easy aiming and easier carrying of more ammo offsets that.

Re: SuperCannon 2 based water gun
actually, its not done yet. the tee behind the valve is going to be the piston pressure chamber, and the tee underneath the reservoir is going to be where the pump is.

Ah, now it's starting to make sense. I didn't quite get it before.
So how exactly do you hold it?

Re: SuperCannon 2 based water gun
i have no *#&$(@ clue. like seriously. i made horrible descisions regarding design. hopefully i can use the hose to wrap around the gun, securing it w/ zipties, and then using a guitar strap. to hold it
