Ionly started my arsenal some time in April 2004 and I haven't had much of a chance to get many soakers, but here's my armoury.

1.MXL 2.CPS 2100 3.ARM 4000 XL.

Small armoury but it will grow very large soon!

That armory might be small, but It has more firepower and potential range (CPS 2100) than mine. I'll post it!

1 XP 270
1 Spider-Man soaker
1 Vaporizer
2 MD2K
1 MD3K
? squirt pistols

Coming soon!(hopefully)
1 Aquapak Devastator(sp?)
1 Flash Flood
1 Triple Shot
1 Liquidator

Adding up the costs of that: $30(APD) + $8(L) + $10(3S) + $15?(FF) = $63 Awesome! I got $55 saved up already! By the end of the school year, I'll have about $105.(From report card money. $10 per marking period= 40 extra dollars by then! W00T&#33 ;)

If I were you, I would save the money up for some better guns off ebay. You can get two CPS 2100 fairly cheap.

Indeed you can. There's a whole slew of them coming through on eBay, singularly and in pairs. Somebody sure has a lot of CPS 2100's to shift! The singles are priced with an opening bid of $9.99 and a BIN of $20; the pairs are priced with an opening bid of $20 and a BIN of $40. Shipping for a pair seems to be less than shipping for two singles.

The pairs seem to be more popular on the whole than the singles - a number of the singles have ended without bids, whereas the pairs tend to attract quite a lot of bids. (That said, I just snarfed a pair this weekend for their opening bid - it just depends.)

All in all, happy hunting!

You can get two shipped to England for £32 with airmail or £28 for surface mail (including guns) so that is cheaper than a Flash Flood and they sure as Hasbro HQ are better.

I don't see how you can make an accusatoin like that. Seeing how I don't think you've even tried a Flash Flood. While being upset with last years line up was very understandable, I don't see how we can still be so aggravated with Hasbro. After all, they gave us what we wanted. Who knows? Maybe the Flash Flood or any other new soaker will be a great addition to an arsenal. The CPS 2100 is a great gun, and I high recommend it. Saying the new line sucks, at this point, is just out of the question. We must wait...

My parents don't let me use Ebay, And, I'd rather have a DWable gun than a potentially powerful one.(I like stock soakers, and modding ain't m3h forte.)

EDIT: "T'd"? How'd I type that? Btw, Nibor, you spelled "accusation" wrong.

[at]nibordude -

I don't think Commander Gaunt's post was an accusation, or that he was saying the Flash Flood sucks (or any of the 2005 lineup). The way I read it was that getting 2x CPS2100 this way is cheaper than getting 2x Flash Flood (or indeed Flash Flood + another soaker of your choosing), and that the Flash Flood would have to be pretty good to top the 2100. Just my 1.0725p...

Having said that, the Flash Flood does look like it's going to be a comparatively good soaker from what I've heard on the iSc forums.

Yeah, I just was actually suggesting that 2 CPS 2100s would be better than a Flash Flood, but also that they were better because we have heard reports of the Flash Flood being unopenable, therefore unmoddable.

I wasn't saying the Flash Flood wasn't a better stock soaker than a 2100, but when I look at soakers, ability to mod them does factor into how good I think they are.

So don't bite my head off!

I also think that a CPS 2100 is better than a Flash Flood. True, I've never seen/used a Flash Flood, but I've done so much with 2100s and know their full modding potential. And no gun is "unopenable" or "unmoddable." The 2100 was called both once and look at it now. I have never opened another gun as easily as the 2100. A way will be found to open the Flash Flood. B)

I forgot to mention My 3 year old birthday back in 1996. Some kid bought me an SS 30.
It was a pretty good gun. Now I relised that I could have gone to a local store and could have gotten a CPS 2000. But can you see a 3 foot 4 3 year old carrying around a CPS 2000. :Hey, that's funny.: I would have hated it then but I would have loved it now.

I also just painted my Monster XL black and my I tried to paint my 2100 camo but that did not work to well so I am going ether sand it down or paint it black.
