Racer soaker I actually I think that it will be below 200$ above 100$ because nintendo promised competive pricing and pricing below 200$ you can even look at http://www.gamestop.com you can pre order it there and they say if it goes below 200$ you pay that if it goes up you pay 200. ;)

Edit: Double E in racer :Hey, that's funny.: :Hey, that's funny.:

If you have nothing better to do check out the offical unveiling of the nintendo ds at E3. The video is awesome. And if you look at IGN.com's forums they have an entire section dedicated to "reggie" the host of the show. I would say they are the most hilarious forums ever. The show tells the story of the DS so far and shows upcomming games. The 2 new metroid games (one for GC the other for DS) I predict will be the greatest nintendo releases to date. The link is here -> e3 conference

One question: If two people had one of those Gameboys, could they message each other using the handheld part?

Does anyone pay attention to my questions?

I am thinking the DS will be $250.

Ahh yes, the ol' NES, I love that system. I also like the Sega Genesis.

Both EBWorld.com and Gamestop.com have added the Nintendo DS to their product lists. They currently have the system listed at a price of $199.99 with a ship date of 11/29/2004. Games are currently listed at $49.99, the same price as most new GameCube titles.
Woah, I answered all in quotes. ;)

ATi Radeon 9800 cards. Those are the best cards on the market today.
Actually, no. The Radeon X800 XT and GeForce 6800 Ultra have nearly twice the speed of the Radeon 9800 pro cards.
Aah, yes, I forgot about hose.

I own a nVidia GeForce FX 5600 XT, very nice card indeed.

The Nintendo DS will be great... There is a board I go on to talk about the DS but ill will keep it in the shade for now...

And I do know quite a bit about the DS.

Its going to be cool.

EDIT: the DS is about 125 dollars, from what they say...

I have my super-speedy (hey! it still plays cs&#33 ;) geforce 4 ti4200. heck, I'll just post my system specs:

dell prop. case
dell prop. mobo, intel 815 chipset
p3 866mhz
256mb sdram (eek&#33 ;)
120gb+20gb=140gb hard drive space (10 winxp, 20 games, 10 apps, 80 data, 20 linux)
evga geforce 4 ti4200
lite-on 166s dvd-rom drive
plextor premium 52/32/52 cd-rw
3c905b NIC
turtle beach santa cruz dsp

originally it only had 20gb hard drive, 128mb ram, XPBackfire-esque cd-rom and cd-rw drives, and a tnt2 card. the rest came with the pc.
"I used to care, but now I take a pill for that."

You can pretty much ignore the times on that, I rarely ever have Xfire on when I play. I should, though.

even if you count out the x800 xt and 6800 ultra, the 9800 XT and geforce 5950 Ultra are still faster than the 9800 pro. And you just said 9800, that might not even be the pro edition which is a lot faster.

I'll post mine too :D its a really XPBackfire-esquepy computer, but I will be able to spend $2400 to build my own come christmas :)

the one now =

P3 800 MHZ
256 MB RAM (SDRAM probably)
19 GB Hard drive (I had to deleate the whole my pictures section and 3 of my games just to install UT2003)
GeForce Ti 4600 (given to us by one of my dads friends at work wehn he fixed our CD burner)
Old 17" dell monitor

as of now, the specs of the comp I will be building around christmas are:

Athlon 64 3400+
Gigabye Nforce 3 250 platform motherboard
1 GB Mushkin PC-3200 RAM (cas latency of 2-3-2 :D )
160 GB 7200 RPM Seagate SATA hard drive
Radeon X800 XT Platinum edition graphics card
NEC/MITSUBISHI FE990-BK 19" Perfect Flat monitor
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 sound card(cheap I know, but it will do the trick)
Logitech Z-640 speakers ( also cheap, but Im getting some good headphones for really intricate audo and stuff)
Sony studio monitor headphones ($100)
Antec performance series case with acrylic side window.

Thats just most of it, not counting the cooling system and other little things. Prices will change between now and then, and new stuff will come out( Like PCI express video cards), but that is a outline of what I plan to be building.

From what I heard people were dissing the Sony PSP... and since Nintendo has been ruling the handheld market for 15 years straight, they had to meet the competition with the Nintendo DS. Don't get me wrong I love Nintendo, and the touch screen looks great, but not that appealing to me. What if it breaks, and the touch screen is vital to winning the game? Im going to ask for one for christmas probably, but its a dead tiew between the DS and PSP. The DS will feature smaller carts, 3d Graphics (sorta), and updates to all those classics I love. But the PSP is sleek, uses disks as big as the gamecubes, and I here it can play music and dvds too. If that does not come with a fee, I will buy the PSP. It even has an analog stick! So I am still stuck between which to get, its a very hard choice..... Check out this month's article I GamePro and Electronic Gaming Monthly for more information.

SWEET! I'm stuck with a 866 mhz., 40 gb., 128 RAM, no video card, no sound blaster card, and a moniter that was made in 1996 or 7. At least we have cable web...
