Since yesterday was the 4th does anyone want to talk tonight? I am in the chat for for the next 3 hours

I'm online right now and probably will remain online for an hour or two.

I'm in the middle of a 28-hour sleep schedule so I missed this. I'll be back to normal by Wednesday, though.

Nothing's happened the last two Saturdays for various reasons – don't know about the first one, but the second was Independence Day. Anyway, a chat with everyone online would be nice...I'd schedule it a few days ahead of time, though.

i somehow got set as an operator in the room, probably because i was the only one there for like an hour or 2. i got a little @ sign by my name

i also had to reset the topic because it somehow got erased, i just found and copy /pasted it back

If the last person in the chat leaves, the channel is essentially deleted. Then, when someone 'joins', they actually create the channel anew. Thus, the topic is blank, and the new creator gets ops.

but thats the thing, i never left. i was there the whole time. and everyone else left

I think the same thing happens if everyone else leaves.

anyways. im not an IRCop anymore, cuz i got disconnected then reconnected and it took my op status away. it was nice for a day
