I bought some new CDs:

The Arcade Fire-Funeral (Really strange and different, but good)
Rammstein-Sehnsucht (Their best album yet)
Nirvana-Nevermind (Of course, I had to get this one)
Queens Of The Stone Age-Songs For The Deaf (Good rock album)
Nine Inch Nails-The Downward Spiral (I'm going though a NIN phase right at the moment)

And my favourite songs from each album are:

Wake Up-The Arcade Fire
Tier-Rammstein
Polly-Nirvana
Gonna Leave You-Queens Of The Stone Age
Ruiner-Nine Inch Nails

I'm afraid that the "suck my dick" crap isn't going to go on here. In fact, I'm adding that to the word filter. At the moment we don't have much of a word filter at all, mostly from the conversion.

I hope you understand that there are children here and not everyone likes hearing that sort of stuff. Thank you.

I watched the full version of the Tool music video for Parabola/parabol, and It was insane. They're really into modern art. I believe their drummer was an art major, but I'm not sure. Anyway, if you get to see it, it's really amazing.

Yeah, I saw that video - pretty crazy stuff, that's for sure.
They've done a lot of art involving sacred geometry, and human anatomy.
Their film director (who is also their guitarist) Adam Jones is a major in art, so he knows what he's doing...

Their drummer is a music major - not an art major.

I am a huge fan of Coheed and Cambria, but I also listen to Avenged Sevenfold, The Recieving End of Sirens, and a ton of Classic Rock.

I am personally a huge fan of Nightwish.

I like other stuff, like Meat Loaf and Queen.

My tastes vary quite a lot, and my compiled CDs contain all sorts of different things.

I know almost immedately whether I like a song, and most of my likes follow a certain framework, but that doesn't mean that everything that fits that is something I will like.
