Dire Straits - Romeo and Juliet
Dire Straits - Solid Rock

and others that I've already mentioned earlier in this thread. It feels as if I've been listening to Dire Straits and/or Mark Knopfler all day. I'm really looking forward to seeing him in concert later this summer. :)

Right now I'm listening to a Megaman X remix of the Spark Mandriller Stage called 'Spark and Shadow.'

Mark Knopfler - What It Is
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing (Alchemy live version)

Am I the only one to really like him/Dire Straits, or are there others?

I like listening to Dire Straits every now and then, but not all the time.

That's a right song! I agree too that its one of their best songs. Have you heard Homecoming? I think that one is quite good.

Genesis - The Cinema Show
Genesis - Firth of Fifth

Classic Rock! There's a great bit on the keyboards/synthesizers about 7 minutes into The Cinema Show, well worth listening to. Both tracks are from the excellent album (probably their best) Selling England By The Pound.

Queen - Stone Cold Crazy
Queen - Bring Back That Leroy Brown

If you ever get a chance to see either of the Queen tribute bands "A Night of Queen" or "Ga Ga", take it. The former is more of a Queen imitation - and the Freddie Mercury impersonator is excellent, as far as anyone could actually do so; the latter is more of a tribute - better musically, but has less imitation of the band. ;)

Duran Duran - What Happens Tomorrow
Duran Duran - Big Bang Generation
Duran Duran - Save A Prayer
Duran Duran - A View To A Kill
Duran Duran - Wild Boys (Hence my username)

This is my all time favourite band. I am probably the only one here who really likes them, but perhaps other people have heard of and liked them. They are ace to me! They are great live! :P

Queen - Somebody To Love
Queen - Don't Stop Me Now
Queen - We Will Rock You
Queen - We Are The Champions

Freddie King - The Stumble
Peter Green - The Stumble
Gary Moore (from Thin Lizzy) - The Stumble

^ Original and two covers of a classic blues guitar instrumental. Freddie King wrote the original, Peter Green (who went on to found Fleetwood Mac) did an excellent cover, and Gary Moore also did a very good more "rocky" version.

I don't like most rap. The only kind I like is freestyle, because that involves skill, as opposed to talking and rhyming to a beat.

I don't like most rap but some of it's okay. I just got The Best Of Queen CD. Queen is really good, I've been listening to them for awhile.
