Super Soaker 200 "Minimization"

I was inspired to do this because of the new "GRGN-C: Water Warriors Gorgon "Commando" Minimization Mod" thread and the fact that my SS 200 is in pieces in my bedroom :) .

In pieces means that:
1) All the pipes are clogged up with some brown stuff
2) Trigger pipe is broken
3) Body work is broken
4) Pump is stuck in place

Fortunately for me the Reservoirs and PC where not broken :) .

I'm either going to use a new super soaker gun (for the looks) and add the pieces I have to it :) or use very hard to find plumbing bits (Where I am in the UK there aren't very many places around me to get parts from and i don't like shipping) to create it.

What do you think??

Maybe a HC or something and put the 200 in it.

Neither option. If the gun is that broken, it's not worth repairing, and the reservoir and pc are nothing special considering that it's a 200. What I would do is save the shell, replace the tubing, the trigger, and the pump, and use the parts for asthetics if it all falls apart.

I'd say the pump's the most valuable part, since my understanding is homemade pumps are hard to make work well. The rest, given it's also damaged, isn't good for much imho.

atvan: Does HC = Hydro Cannon?

zeda.beta: The Shell Is BROKEN ... I can't fix it and I don't have enough tubing to fix the internals. The bit that the reservoirs screw onto is broken, it leaks water everywhere.

Cantab: Pumps broken in many ways :) The white tube that held the pump has come off from the hole system and the pump handle has smashed

Yep. just a good size shell if you do some dremeling. you could also use it in a homemade to make it lighter.

I know that the shell was broken, but I was suggesting that you could save it for asthetic reasons if there weren't enough big parts to bother repairing it.
