Any trigger that clicks open and closed is a Max-D trigger system.

I see, sow hat sort of metal did they make the spring out of? Must be really crummy for a spring to break.

remember that these things get wet, leaving rust a major possibility.

Yes, it is crummy, and I think that was intended so that it breaks and you have to buy another one. As CA_99 suggested, it should be replaced with a stainless steel spring.

Well that is a perfect example of how capitolism is affecting our society. But on topic, you could also use a spray on coating with a new one, so no water would actually his the spring.

zeda, well we do unfortunately live in a throw away society. I try to make things last as long as possible. I digress...

I may pop open the FF and see what's going on inside, if it just needs a spring I'll replace it and hopefully have my favorite Hasbro era super Soaker Back.
