Could you use homemade paintball kits and instead of using paint put water in instead? You would have to use a paintball gun but think about you would have a semi if not full auto war machine! Would it still be as dangerous as regular paintballs?

This is a question? Of course these "waterballs" would be just as dangerous! Water and paint are similar enough. I doubt this would still qualify as "water warfare" in most people's opinion however.

If you wanted to broaden the horizens of water warfare you could have tried one of those tank things in the stories, or maybe a full-auto WBL
