Yeah. Basically you need to jam something under it and use a ton of strength to push it off. If its not coming off, Don't worry, just keep working at it.

Same sorta thing as with my MD6K, that pump cap didn't want to come off, but with some force it'll come. Flat-tip screwdriver's my best shot at the things, lever a little bit in one place, then a little bit on the other side, the the bits in between, and it should come. If not, swear at it a few times and use more force. That seems to get it off.

On my Max-D 6000 I used a pair of locking pliers to get the pump cap off. It damages the cap, but I never put them back on anyway so that didn't bother me.

I think I have a 2100 MK2, how many balloons should I use and what should I reinforce to do a K?

I would say, anywhere from 40-80 balloons is best. Dux says 80 is best, I think around 70 is best.

No re-enforcing is needed when K-modding a 2100. Although, If its a really old gun, you might want to re-enforce, just incase.

I only suggest 80 balloons because you can safely pump it to full without worrying about anything breaking. With 70, if you pump it too far then you are going to hear a loud *crack* and suddenly the gun stops shooting. The pressure is too much. However with 80 you can pump it all the way until it stops, which is only to 9 or 10 pumps. Anymore than 12 on 40-75 balloons isn't smart.

OK, thanks. CVF too, right?
Nibor, it's still brand new, so I'll be OK without reinforcement, yeah?

Completed K-Mod yesterday on a CPS1000. ~45 pearlised baloons, very very small baloons too I had to really struggle to get the little B%$^#[at]s onto the CPS bladder.

I also tried Doom's suggestion for drilling out the vents on the side of the PC (good thinking, I'd missed that one&#33 ;) . However I Don't have anything to compare this with because I stupidly drilled the hoels at the same tiem as I did the K-Mod so I Don't know how much difference it made. What I do know is that the whole PC empties itself in under a second.

This is a little off the topic but has anyone though about a guage that tells you how full your PC is? It wouldnt be hard to make. Just knocked up a bit of a diagram. Obviosuly you'd have to make sure that the part inside the PC was as small as possible. You might want to countersink the hole a little if your going to use a sprint to push the meter out. This would probably get in the way during combat but for testing it might be useful. Its not nessesary but a spring would make things work a lot better and you would want to put markings along the shaft of the thing to determine how full the chamber was. probably a really thin bolt would do it. File the head down so it was really thin and use it on the inside of the PC. It might also pay to drill another small ventilation hole beside the bolt hole.

You could make the pc gauge meter bendy and in a small cylinder so the more water in the pc, the more times the meter would go around the cylinder.

Hmm, I think I'll try that Daedalus, It looks like a job for washers, an old spring, a screw, and duct tape! LOTS OF IT! :Hey, that's funny.:

EDIT: "When in doubt, duck it"©

It's too bad that I don't have a super soaker with a round pc. Otherwise I would give this a shot. Duct tape never holds, I would know. :P Use black electrical tape. It works way better and to me it looks better.

I just prefer the fact that electrical tape has a little stretch in it.

Daedalus, that is a brilliant idea. I think I co do it with a spring and a nail, just'll have to saw off and use a file on one end. That's comparable to when I thought of that nozzle selector mod to make it like the 1500. I'll have to try that when I find the time.

This is a question about the CVF. I've sawed off the right section (hopefully&#33 ;) , leaving two small holes. What should I fill them with?
