I'm new, so hi.

Anyways, I saw this http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... ber=H33357 and this http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodi ... ber=H18358 a re-release of the arctic shock and splash fire. Not the best guns, but they might be releasing more. Any more info?

I've seen these around some time before, and might have actually seen the Arctic Shock in stores. It was a profitable blaster despite being a complete piece of junk, so it's no surprise they re-released it.

Both were re-releases for 2010 I think. They're not going to re-release anything worth getting though, other than maybe more XP's, Max-D's, and Flash Flood/Arctic Blast. They usually have the Max-D 6000 available often, as well as the MD3k.

Wow, that's just sad. They could have at least released something useful, say, an xp-150 or a flash flood. (Something realistic.)

Do you know where I can get a max D 6k in canada? It's not listed on any canadian sites. I haven't seen it at walmart, but next time I can I'll check toysrus. Also, is it true that the arctic blast's FF nozzle uses up more water than the FF? (Considering the tank, thats not good if the FF on the AB uses up half the reservoir)

The AB's pressure chamber is almost the same capacity as the FF's; iSoaker reports it to be slightly less. Shot time is indeed slightly faster too, but at this point the difference is splitting hairs. From what I've tested on the FF, you can't fire a riot blast without using all the pressure at once; the valve simply won't be able to close until the bladder is empty.

Well, my only other question is does the 2010 iron man blaster have a quick fill lid, or is it screw only?

Every iteration of the Arctic Blast so far has, to the best of my knowledge, had a quick-fill cap. However, I fairly sure that the Iron Man blaster is not Max-Infusion compatible.

You're right CA_99. I was disappointed when I bought an IM2 blaster and wasn't able to swap the cap with my Overload's. The opening is standard size on the IM2.

Off Topic: Wow, I'm a senior member already?

I don't think Ben ever changed the board's title default settings (which is based on post count or time registered, I don't know), which is probably why.

You can always hack something together for an aquapack/backpack. It just depends on how much work you're willing/able to do.

hmmm.... Well, I guess a screw cap wouldn't be TO bad... I'll think about it.

Thanks
