I am just wondering how much water the PC does actually hold. I hope it is a CPS bladder!

But it will likely only hold 500 ml or less...seems to be a small-medium sized blaster^^

Isoaker_com, get one and show us its performance soon, I really look forward to getting more information :)

I wonder how the "recoil action" is going to work. I don't think it's just going to be the kickback from the force of the water, I reckon there'll be some kind of actual mechanism.

Perhaps it'll be a spring or airspring piston gun, like the Water Warriors Aqua Master or Pulse lines? If the piston is then made really heavy, that'll give a recoil effect.

Thanks for the link Hyper. And cantab, I agree, although I don't want to, that it probably has an airspring, and an oprv to go with it. I can only wish that it could be a CPS bladder.

:D Performance of the SS Hydro Cannon will soon be well known! I have ordered one right now and it was paid via kredit card, so I should receive it in about 3 working days :D

Pics, performance, PC-volume, reservoir volume, range(0° and 45°) soakage/s X:: and inner construction will be presented here, as soon as I have received it :)

And maybe the pressurized hydro cannon does have a CPS bladder.... :p

35 feet? Not the best. And remember that they tend to exaggerate ranges greatly.

I think in recent times Hasbro have stopped exaggerating the ranges. Indeed sometimes, especially on piston blasters, they've understated them.

Thunderstorm shot video is up, and the blaster is as bad as we thought, if not worse. the thing has a stream smaller than a squirt pistol. It makes me wanna cry.
Horrid massacre of great brand
Pessimist: These blasters hold no water
Optimist: But their small output means they last just as long
Marketing: Huge blasts of water!
user: I shot it at an angle and it went a whole ten feet!

The Point Break looks sort of decent. It looks about as good as... uh... a Stingray.

Edit: Wow, even the Saturator looks like it has better performance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... FargZDzvN4

The stingray has a far more substantial and powerful stream than either of those. I have a stingray, and it is a very good pistol. The point break looks just pitiful.
regarding the thunderstorm, BBT got respectable performance from a motor with the tarantula.

The Thunderstorm is weak and makes a horrible noise.

I'd put the Point Break as comparable to an XP-240.

The Saturator (which is of course not a Super Soaker) looks like it might throw some water a decent distance...and some water a pathetic distance. And I've never seen any AK-47 that looked like that.

Saturator sucks, period.
Tested it, 20 feet of range at normal squirt gun output.

I don't like the Stingray. Its stream is really thin. The Point Break looks a little better, IMO.

I have just watched the Thunderstorm on youtube

And I have to laugh! The guy said it got a thick stream and that 6 metres is standard ??? All XPs and piston and of course CPS Blasters have better range than that...

What a baaaaaad Soaker...I also have a electronic water gun, which I modified:

I replaced the battery with 3 times more volt. Now it got 11 metres range and better stream size(2X). May you could do that with the Thunderstorm too?

But above all, very bad and as bad as we thought....

Can you hear me Hasbro? ! This gun is shit ! :p

I was kind of excited about this gun because that's exactly what I wanted to do - modify it. But now that I see the video of it, I don't really want to get it. Unless it only costs about $10.
