Deal?

Well, down at NerfHaven, someone's trying to get rid of a couple of CPS 1200s. $15 each.

http://www.isoaker.com/Armoury/Analysis ... s1200.html

Now, it looks like a standard Super Soaker (normal range, normal output, normal shot time), and fairly good for collecting. Do you guys think it's worth it?

Thanks
Finn

Uhh, I don't know his email, and I was probably going to buy them.

Sorry

Are $15 CPS 1200s a good deal? Yes they are.

How much do they usually sell for? I was thinking of buying one to use and one to collect, but now I'm thinking that I'll buy one to use and the other to sell.

Thanks
Finn

1200's are excellent, and are considerably superior to anything made 2003 and after. (unless the Vindicator is really that good, then the 1200 would be on-par with it) They usually sell for $30 or up to $40 on ebay, not as much as some of the most popular but they still deliver good performance. With light k-modding (most or all 1200's are great for light k-mods), they can go up against the heavier blasters.

I say, get as many as you can. They make strong additions to any armory, and are generally valued for that more than for collectability.

Sounds good to me. I guess I'll buy them. Is anyone interested in one? I only really need one (I've got quite a few guns) and I'd be happy to send one to someone here on the boards.

Thanks
Finn

Found him. I'll try to outbid that at 20. And no Finn, I won't buy it from you at 30. That's just ridiculous.

Wish me luck.

The 1200 is good. It's less popular than the slightly older 1000, but I don't think its less powerful. I was told my 1200 is in good condition, unlike my 2100 which apparently isn't performing quite as it should.

Are we allowed to use Lol stuff in here? And Moron, what's your forum name?

Thanks

Thanks for the heads-up, Finnster, and the offer to let someone else have the other one.

Not sure what you mean by "Lol stuff," but if it's IM- or text-message-speak, then it's generally discouraged. At best it'll make you look bad. ;)
