Evergreen Supertanker

There's a neat photo gallery of the Evergreen Supertanker, a firefighting airplane, at PopSci.com. Apparently its 16-inch nozzles fire at 262,000 X at 40,000 PSI.
Not sure about that last figure though. The photographer made the common mistake of saying "pounds of pressure." Pounds per what? Square inch? Inch-yard? Who knows...
