Well, just remember you first heard it from me. The very first ever Air Pressure water gun in retail history is the Cosmic Liquidator from 1977.
Big historical news for the ones who care about water gun history.

Interesting--you always hear about how Lonnie Johnson invented the Super Soaker. Do think it was intended for his concept to model the Cosmic Liquidator, or do you think it was a coincidence?

He invented the SS50, I assume, with no knowledge of an earlier version of Air Pressure Soaker.

Okay, thanks for that (though Johnson may have improved and commercialized the Cosmic Liquidator).

How well did the SS50 stack up against the Liquidator? The Liquidator has some pretty nice specs for the first air pressure soaker.

The website is viewbale again. That sometimes happens with geopcities.

The SS50 has abit more output anfd distance also taking half as many pumps. The Cosmic Liquidator on the other hand has longer shot time and is extremly durable. The pump is made of matal, which should sais it all.

Your website's picture is small, but this is much nicer. As a result, I noticed something just now: where is the pump?! I can see everything else, but not that!

By the way, do you actually have a Cosmic Liquidator?

If you click on the small images they will enlarge. All of them. On the full review on Chapter VIII the pump is shown on the pictures. Plus that review was written by me, so I have two Cosmic Liquidators.

I don't want to robb you of the suprise how it works or how it looks like. It takes the fun out of reviews. I deliberatly only posted the stats on the forums.

Hmmm...I had though of that, but all I could see on the box was one big cap. Oh well.

I'm pretty sure that I've read about at least one other gun like this.
