What's a CPS 1021? Or was that a typo?

It's the result of integrating the bladder from a CPS 1000 into a CPS 2100. Or maybe the other way around.

Hello just recently joined the forums here.

I recently acquired an ss arctic blast and a secret strike. I have to say the secret strike is fairly rubbish. Also recently built a roland towers style homemade backpack water gun. :)

Have you tried 'priming' the secret strike? Basically, pump about 15-20 strokes of air into in (either before you fill the reservoir, or by holding the gun upside-down). Then pump it the water. This should give a power boost, especially on the large nozzle. Just be careful not to lose the air you pumped in. If you get a mist shot, you've lost it. Basically take short shots repumping in between. You need to do that on the SS anyway because the shot dropoff is horrible.

Most of the soakers with seperate air chambers need to be primed anyway, but for recent guns with very small chambers, priming is absolutely necessary to maintain a usable amount of power. Once primed, conserve ammo and re-pump very often. The very small chambers mean even less shot time when primed. (by "very small", I mean that their capacity, with both water and air, is less than half of that of one of those small water bottles packed in lunches, so the amount of water actually in them when primed is roughly about that of a handful.)

thanks for the input guys. I know this is a bit off-topic but would it be possible to disable the pressure relief valve in it.

Yes, it is possible to disable the pressure relief valve. But, you can't expect a serious performance boost from that modification and the chance of your breaking the water gun increase greatly, so I'd suggest against it.

I just picked up a Water Warriors Krypton(used) from a guy who owns a surf shop, He said he'd give it to me for $10 usd, I said I'd take it so I tested it out at his shop and it was broken, the big button that says "aquamaster pre charger" is jammed and the gun won't build pressure or let out a drop of water, I asked if he was going to throw it away, when he said yes I said I'd take it even thoughll it was broken. So I got it for free and I'm going to try to fix it anyways, it sounds like all I have to do is open it up and unjam it! I also am getting my first cps soaker shipped to me now, I got it for $69 including s& h!!! A genuine cps 3200!!!

Got me another FF for $4.98 on clearance from Target; it was the last one in the store. Returned my AB, and with those $20 ordered a Hydro Blitz off Amazon for only $30 SHIPPED. Not bad at all!

@DJIA
Where are you located? Sometimes those clearances are regional and I might look in the target by me in NJ. (when I get back to NJ, I've been in Delaware since yesterday should be back sometime tomorrow.)
but i have a feeling that I won't find any because when I was there on I think Friday, I couldn't find any super soakers anywhere, so they probably took the stock down already.

I just went and got a Shield Blaster 2000...not quite sure why. It seemed cheap but after postage it's not really.
