I was at a flea market, and this guy offered to sell me a gun for $20, so I saw that he had three 2000's, a 1500, and a 2100, and haggled down to $60 for the lot. When I got home the 1500 was working, but the bladder snapped after about an hour.

That's wicked sweet. What marks are the 2000s and 2100?

As far as I can tell, there are two MKII 2000's, one MKI 2000, and the CPS 2100 is a MK1 from my knowledge.

That is even better. Since you have the Mk. 1 2100, you are almost obligated to mod it.

How far does the MK1 2100 shoot? I want to see if it breaks 40 (I've never actually tested my MK1 out of laziness). I'm more impressed by that than by the MK1 2000, lol. It's only the 4th one known in the community and they absolutely kick ass. A lemon MK1 shoots farther than the best MK3.

Preliminary results are around 37-38 feet a shot, level, but better numbers will be available when I have time to test more.

Over the past few months I've been lucky enough to get a CPS 1500 and 2500 on Trade Me (New Zealand's main auction site). No one in NZ knows the value of these things so I got the 1500 for $26NZD (22USD) including postage and the 2500 for $62.50NZD ($52USD) including postage which was amazing. Both guns work perfectly and the 2500 even came with the original box as it had been in storage for years.

About 2 years of having my inbox spammed with saved searches for "cps" "super soaker" "water gun" and many other phrases has finally paid off, now I just need to get a CPS 3000 and I'll have all of the legendary 98s!!

Thanks, I'm absolutely stoked! Just goes to show that good soakers can be found anywhere I guess, I never would have thought that I could have found one of the highest output guns in my little country with 4 million people, but they're still around...

I was also at a party at a friend's place a few months ago and his parents had a CPS 2000 which was amazing! I had a few shots of it (incredible) but sadly they didn't want to sell it to me. Fair enough though haha
