I just got 2 of the SS-50 20th editions.
Everybody should get the new SuperSoaker 50 Remake.
they actually released a Soaker as good as the 90's soakers.

Even though the original SS-50 was outgunned by the SS-100 and SS-200 easily.
The SS-50 Far Surpasses the lame soakers hasbro has been turning out lately.

If anything they have Improved the original quite nicely. the new Fill cap means that the tank will not have any structural Problems and leak. The Gun also has a better angle for Ammo Feed. so overall I think this gun is the equivilant of the SS-200 with a single tank.

I just got 2 max-d 3000's with totally rusted screws. I also got a flash flood with a hole in its tank.

I recently aquired an XP 150, and I must say, that thing is durable, as it works better than my monster and my FF. :D

Recently I found a CPS2500 in moderate condition, it works very well and all the stickers are intact but it has a lot of scratches on the reservoir and nozzles.

But the best addition is a CPS3000 in mint condition (still in the box) it was used only once.

Now only 2 guns left on my wishlist.
CPS3200 and a CPS2000MKI (but I doubt if MKI still exists in acceptable condition)
I saw a lot of CPS2000 popping up recently (some for only 17 euros) but all MKII

I wouldn't pass up a Mark II at a good price. I've never known which Mark the 2000's I've shot were, but I've heard the Mark II is more durable, and conflicting reports about which has the range edge.

Probably neither. The best explanation/speculation I've heard is that the bladders themselves are the same; they're just allowed to expand to different extents. That would explain the first mark's better shot time and the second mark's better durability.

solar00, are prices still lower than usual this year? That's what I've heard, but I haven't been keeping track.

I have a CPS 2000mk1 in nearly perfect condition. It has been well taken care of. Hardly any scratches either. As someone who as owned both the mk1 and mk2 I can tell you that there are differences.
The mk1's firing chamber is bigger and holds more water. You can tell this just by looking at the gun with out taking it apart, although that works too.

Mk2

Note that the mk1's firing chamber extends well beyond the styling under the clear pressure reading plastic where as the Mk2's falls short. The mk1's range is superior - I am not sure how much superior but I will be reviewing it soon for Hydrowar so look forward to that. As for durability, I cannot list any stats to argue for one side or the other. All I can tell you is that I still have a 13 year old Mk1 and it's in great condition.

The differences between the MK I and II are pretty obvious for the 2000. The MK I's firing chamber is actually smaller, but expands more and has less dead space, thus pushes out more water.

The rubber is thinner or the rubber part isn't as long? I will have to examine my guns side by side next week when I'm home from summer school. I think I can actually fix my mk2.

The rubber thickness may have to do with the power differences, but the volume differences are caused simply because the MK I's bladder expands more.

MK I bladder: Smaller base volume (hence why the pressure gauge is longer), same expanded volume as MK II

MK II bladder: Larger base volume (shorter pressure gauge), same volume when expanded as MK I

So what does that mean? Lets say both bladders are full. The MK I's bladder contracts to a smaller volume, thus it pushes out more water and people say it's PC is larger. The MK II's bladder doesn't push out as much, and instead leaves dead volume. Dead volume is simply water residing in a bladder without the bladder expanded. (such as how a pre-filled water balloon can hold a tiny bit of water before expanding) If you were to point both marks at a container and fire, they would total to the same amount of water but the MK I would shoot out with force for longer while the MK II would simply drip water out once the bladder contracts completely.

CPS3200 sold for $91 (normally these are over $100)
MonsterXL for 60 euros and a CPS2000 for 17 euros.
I bought a CPS2500 two weeks ago for only 15 euros.
The CPS3000 was 55 euros, that is a bit more but its still a good price for a mint backpack gun without a single scratch or any other marks.

I spotted several other CPS guns for prices much lower than usual but I don't remember the details.

I recently got the Vindicator, Renegade, and Equalizer. They are so AWESOME! The Equalizer shoots about 45 feet (no joke). The Renegade has three nozzles, and shoots 42 feet. Actually the first Renegade I bought broke the day I got it. I had to get another. The Vindicator is the best one. It shoots 45 feet, has five nozzles, a shoulder strap already built in. It's AWESOME! They are like Monsters in a smaller, longer ranged, less pumped, package. I would recommend these if your looking for a backup to your CPS 2000 or your Monster X.
