This post should be moved to the "recent additions to your armory" thread. I've never heard of that brand of water gun before.
EDIT by SilentGuy: I moved the thread, as you must have noticed by now. I assumed the old thread would just be covered up over time, but I guess not... So, thanks for pointing this out.

I just bought an XP250 off of eBay, the trigger handle is broken but I shouldn't have too much trouble fixing that. If there are any issues, I'll be sure to bring it up in the Repairs forum.

I just got two mediocre blasters: the Vaporizer and the MI Overload. Range isn't important to me so both are fine in my arsenal. The Overload is my first backpack blaster. I don't think the Vaporizer is that bad, it's actually a decent gun if you pump hard enough. And it's pretty cheap to buy.

I invented the Storm line for Trendmasters and now at Jakks Pacific, what if anything do find wrong with them? AlanSpinner wrote:After seeing the similar thread at the iScF, it struck me that such a thread might prove successful here as well.
So, what soaker(s) have recently been added to your stash? Are you pleased with it, and was it a good deal?
Recently, I received a CPS 1700 and an XP 150 mk.1, both in used condition. I'm pretty happy with both of them. I also tested out a load of Storm guns I bought last year, but hadn't opened.

That said, though I can't speak for all, I do feel that Storm guns have only had limited exposure and experience in the general online soaker community. My own experience with the Storm line is limited to the Storm Cyclone Force 3 back in 2000. The dual action pumping nature of the Storm Gun felt odd to me (I didn't like the resistance when extending the pump as it seems to slow down my overall pump rate). The stream it produced was decent, but the soaker, itself, was more expensive than comparable soakers of its time. Price and limited funds are the primary reasons I haven't tested many. Additionally, in Canada, Storm guns were simply not as accessible, thus I was unable to try out more recent models.

To tell you the truth, I have never seen a single Storm gun in real life. Even when I was in the states for a few days and i went to K mart, they were not there.
Back on topic, I got a CPS 3000 not too long ago, and just got a "camel pack" to replace the non existent one that I got with the gun.

I just got lucky today, I scored at my local Zellers a STE triple shot(6$) and a XP BackFire(5$). Both was left from previous years sales. I know the BackFire is just a gimmick, but it is very rare to find old NIB soakers like this nowdays .
Here's the XP:
Just one thing though, I tried my triple shot and the small stream shoots a little angled to the right . I might post in the repair forums on this.

My overall view of Storm guns is that they are generally a little underpowered. However, the smaller-sized guns are tough and good for their size. I have one of the constant-pressure Storm guns; I'd have liked to see more in that range.
I quite like the styling on some Storm guns, and their solid, well-built feel, but I'd like to see more power to back them up. Pressurised reservoir doesn't really satisfy when you get above the size of something like a Storm 500.

My Most recent additions
The most recent additions to my armory was a MI-Helix and my now complete WBL Multi-Shot Heavy-Assault-Rifle, named The C.L.A.W Launcher
(Compact, Low, Angle, Water-balloon Launcher)
I don't have any stats on the C.L.A.W, because a few days before it was compleated, my bike pump gave out and I havn't had a chance to get a new one. But once I do, I'm going to be writing up a full article on it.

Well I just scored 2 Monsters off my friend =].
I was over at his house and we were wandering through his old shed. I stumbled upon 2 2001 Monsters sticking out a basket. I was like =O. I pulled one out and he looked at me and was like, oh you can have those, they are leaky and hurt your thumb. I was like =O again. So he gave me them both for free.
=3 I am really happy because I have been really lucky these past months/years. My armory is growing.
Armory:
x6 Xp 150
Xp 210
Xp 310
SC 500
Cps 2100 (75 Ballon Kmod)
Cps 2500
Cps 3200
x2 Monster (2001)
Just need a Cps 2000 now =p. Its the fact of owning an actual 2000 and being able to hold and fire it and hold the power of a stock soaker.
Hehehe

CPS-2000
One of the people on my team made an amazing score on ebay.
They managed to snag a CPS 2000 for a mere $14.04!
I was speachless at his bidding skill.
The 2000 was actualy part of a pack of three guns that he bought for $42.15, which if you devide by 3 = $14.04.
The other two guns in the pack was an XXP-275 and an XXP-175.
You can see the item for yourself here.
