Hmm...I don't much like AIM chat, but if it comes to it we can use that, do you have AIM XN?

What is the purpose of the mesh on the soakers? Does it make a better stream, or is it just to block unwanted particles from exiting?

Newb, if you have a queestion, give it a topic. Your question has nothing to do with this topic. If you seriously need anv answer to that question, well, you are out of luck because nobody really knows the answer. We assume it helps stream lamination, but it has yet to be proved.

To answer his question, the mesh screens only reduce stream velocity, which in return creates a more laminar flow. That does mean that power is decreased. Screens are a poor way of creating more laminar flow as far as I am concerned.

Again, not that I want to sound like a snob, but I will suggest reading our forums. The Water nozzle patents thread was very recent and explained what screens did. Read Chris Bloch's patent in that thread for the best water nozzle around and duplicate it if you can. He is a member of our forum now and is a very nice guy! His nozzle creates the most laminar flow we have seen.

hey guys, sorry for the absence for like 2 weeks, I was finishing up a lot of school stuff before Thanksgiving break, including a 10 page paper (yay!). Now I'm on break and have a bit more time.
