When I was little I saw a commercial about an old cps soaker and I thought wow, that gun shot a whole pyramid of cans down! I was amazed concidering all I had was a box of penny soakers. Since then I have always loved them.

I could say it was myself. I saw the CPS 1000 in a toys R us magazine, and asked my mom to buy it. It was such a good soaker, I didn't need anymoe. After the pump broke in '00 I began a inexperienced userish search for a gun as good in all feilds. I stopped in 02' when I figured it was pointless. I started again when I was trying to find my RC car battery charger in the basement and stumbled across my old soakers. This is this year by the way. Thats when I told Blaze (Some of you newer guys might not know him, go to soakthis.com for more info about blaze) we should have a huge soaker fight. He told me about how great ssc is, and thats how I started.

Hi everyone I'm new to SSC but I've been on ISc for just over a month now.

My Dad had an SS 50 and I always thought it was cool compared to the squirt guns I had. Eventually I bought a XP 85 (The XP 110 was too expensive). It was so bad it had a shorter range than the SS 50! After 1 day of using it the seal went so I took it back and got a refund. They didn't have any more so I couldn't get another one. Anyway early last year one of my friends got me into soaking again so I found an old XXP 175 and then also got myself a CPS 4100.

When I lived in Germany, I had a few friends. One had a XP 15, another had an XP 110 (I think). I also saw a hugely powerful blaster when I lived in Nebraska, around 1997/8. I think it may have been a 2000, but I can't remember.

I remember seeing a CPS 1500 and CPS 3000 commercial(sp?) when I was 5, I really, REALLY wanted one, but my mom, being a safety freak, said "No, too dangerous." So I never go a SS gun until February 2004, when I bought a CPS 1500, the gun of my dreams.

I wish I got into soakers a long time ago. I used to see them all the time. A few years ago my Dad bought a SC Triple Charge. When I got into soakers I asked where it was and he had thrown it out not to long before. What a pain!

The way I got into soakers was last summer it was so hot so I decided I should have some water fights with my friends. From thier on I just kept building on my armory.
