2005 Soakers
Does anyone know anything about the 2005 Super Soakers? The 2004 ones were pieces of junk! I wanna know any info on the 2005 ones, pictures, reviews anything! I'm sure they already designed them. I heard about a CPS-1300, and new Max-D's, but thats about all I know.

It's funny because the only website I found said they got all the information from SS Central. Is this true? I couldnt find the article.

From how much they said there. I'm sure its a joke. Everyone knows they can't make a soaker as powerful as a CPS 2000.

Yeah I remember that. That was Doom's April Fools 2004 joke to the community. Currently we do not know much about the 2005 line, if anything at all. I will sticky this thread to General Discussion, in case someone finds something we can have it immediatly. Hopefull we will fin dout whats coming up from hasbro around Jan-February. Water warriors? MUCH sooner, next month B)Originally posted by BlueSmudge@Aug 14 2004, 04:52 PM

So that whole page was false? Besides it would seem reasonable to make a CPS-4000, why would they make a 4100 and skip 4000. As for that other one they were talking about it sounds kinda weird. I'm so confused. Someone please shed some light on this.
And I wasn't here in April, what did Doom do?

I made an April Fools joke. I had actually been planning that since April 2003. I wanted to make a picture of a few of them but didn't. I've got more planned, just be aware that whatever news posts I make on April 1st shouldn't be taken seriously at all.And I wasn't here in April, what did Doom do?
I've been looking at trademarks and patents, nothing special has popped up yet I did however see SoakerTag Elite, must be an old name for SoakerTag. They take too long to pop up in such sources, that's because they have to be registered and it takes time. Our best bet would be to watch out for the 2004 Soaker movie S.O.A.K.E.R.S. for new soakers or wait for them to update the website. Hyper9 once told me that the 2004 guns actually were on the SS.com site in November 2003. Maybe they'll be on that time this year.

Because it's cheap mostly. They make money of it. That's the real reason why, but as iSoaker said at his forum, it really is the decision of the stores. There is a price limit these days, you won't find a water gun over $20 anymore. The stores buy the guns from Hasbro, it's all about what makes them money.
