A Water-grenade launcher

Post by Monsoon » Sat Sep 13, 2003 2:28 pm

This is an idea that most of us wonder about today: "How do you make a water balloon launcher?" Well, the truth is, this probably won't happen for a few years, but some people make prototypes of a spring-loaded, hollow barrel with a coushin at the back to carfully fling the balloon forward. My point is, most of these "prototypes" never work. My perferred launcher (hopefully there will be something like this soon) would be a bazooka-styled launcher the you actually mount on your shoulder. This would make assault on a base much easier, and same with defense.
Do not underestimate the power of stupidity in large groups

Make it have a "slot" for your shoulder so that it is more comfortable.

You can pretty much ignore the times on that, I rarely ever have Xfire on when I play. I should, though.

I've been there.
From what I've heared, WBLs are not very accurate and you pop most of the balloons while firing. How do you think someone could fix these problems?

1. Better wadding
2. Not use PVC. It can sometimes get little nubs and sharp spots on it from the manufacturing process.

unfortunately, PVC is the only pipe that's light and strong enough to house a WBL :(

heck of a big drum sander, but yeah, that would probably work. still need better wadding than a styrofoam cup though.
