Like a burst-shot WBL? That would be cool. Would the balloons all approximately hit the same target, or would you want them to spread out?

If I wanted a shotgun then I'd just load them all in at once... it kills your range but you can fire multiple balloons at once. Anywho this design would allow you to fire a round and then wait until you wanted to fire again; I suppose I could make a fully auto mode though. Oh the posibilities.

with just a bit of wiring one trigger could make three solenoids go off in order. Say 1/2 a second between each.

The triple shot WBL would need three separate firing chambers and PCs, right?

That isnt fully automatic, its just like a scattergun. Fully autiomatic means that as long as you hold the trigger down, ammunition will be shot one after another until the ammunition supply runs out.
Your just talking about a bunch of balloons at one.
Three selenoids would be expensive. And using one for fully automatic would drain the battery supply very quickely....

Yeah. I can't think of anyway to create a constant supply of pressure. You would need some kind of pump that runs on batteries. I know of a couple of these kinds of pumps, but all of them are extremely loud and huge.

I belive a water balloon will shoot around the same range. I'm estimating that the orange and the water balloon will weigh around the same. Also I would suggest buying some styrophope cups to help shoot the balloon if it keeps blowing up in the barrel.

Hmm....this seems like a really interesting design. My team is in bad need of a WBL before our next battle, and this might just be it. The low price and easy operation are definently attractive.

Hey welcome back wetmonkey. haven't seen you around for a looooooooong time. Back to the topic. I was thinking of building one this summer. We could use one. I have tried making a sling kind before but it only shot about 60 - 80 feet :) .

Same here. I have a 3 man sling shot WBL. THese are fun but take up too many people during a battle. With the Doüchenator it takes one person and goes further. Can't wait to use it in the second battle of Ridgewood.

No air pressure wbl. Tis a rule... anywho yoou could have three rotating chambers holding the balloons with one barrel that has three pcs... or one giant one with a regulator. So in essence (sp?) it would be a fully auto 3 shot revolver. And yes it would be fully auto... as long as you are holding down the trigger the chambers will rotate and the air valves will fire in order... just like a manually clicking revolver.

The 2nd Battle of Ridgewood isn't the same as the regional war. The 2nd battle is with Waterbridge in April, a whole seperate war.
