Anyone familiar with water balloon slings?
Am considering building my own based on the following design:
source: http://www.aquatoss.com/information.html
... I may also incorporate the following guide to making a sling.
http://www.slinging.org/17.html
I would plan to use material from a plastic tarp, reinforce the holes, and surplus parachute cord for the string if I can get it.
Let me know what you think.......... If your wondering why I need to arm up check my second thread.

I believe this is a homemade water weapon... moving...
I've never made one of these. I suppose you don't want a slingshot, but they do work pretty good if you are up to using them. Those instructions look fairly good, that should work as long as the balloon stays in the holder.
You may want to make the balloon holder larger, to hold the balloon better. I could see that balloon falling out before you intend to use the sling in a design like that.

It amazed me after doing a search that no one on this board has tried something similar. I don't know what a sling is like in terms of accuracy and am betting it will take a bit of practice...............
I've got tomorrow off before whatever happens with my competition Saturday.
If I have success making the sling I will post back later........
