Anyway, for me, im not an over sporty person, but i dont mind a bit of Ultimate Frisbie, Aggressive Skating (inline equivilent of skateboarding), and maybe a bit of Football (ok, soccer to you americans then)

I agree; hiking is a very legit sport. I did a three day backpacking trip a few years back and I can tell you flat out that it's a sport and some people are better at it that others. If you think "Oh, it's just a way to get around," then you haven't seen what some people do when hiking. A 10 day trip is a good example because it just shows the overall endurance aspect of the sport.

The Welsh Mountains arent too far from me, maybe i could try hiking them sometime?

For doing: If water warfare doesn't count, rowing. Well it's pretty much the only 'serious' sport I do.
For TV watching: Formula 1. If that doesn't count, soccer and rugby.
For watching in person: Rowing. Especially Bumps races (where the basic idea is to crash into the crew in front before the crew behind crashes into you!)
