There's a lot of info in this topic, but ask Ben about them.

You'll need to buy latex rubber tubing from McMaster.com, tubing clamps, PVC, threaded adapter, end caps, ball valve, etc etc etc.

What type are you thinking of making? Would it be APH style, or power pak?

APH . My dad has a tripod(not war of the worlds :p ) and are getting a new cooler at some point in the near future and so I wanted to make a cps homemade that is mounted on a turret or tripod with a large water supply.

just tried McMaster.com and would not load. Also can you use bike innertubes?

You can... if you want it to shoot a whole 10 feet. If you want good performance, get some LRT.

I have never constructed one, so I would suggest to wait until Ben is able to explain it to you (maybe we'll get a nice diagram? ;) ). Sorry I can't help you.

LRT is generally better, but using several overlayed innertubes has reportedly worked well as well.

I pulled my CPS homemade out from storage and also have found the images I intended to use in an article on the design.

Take a look at the water gun right now: http://www.sscentral.org/images/dscn0190.jpg

Nothing to complicated really. Had I been presented with such an image two years ago, I surely could have made an exact duplicate.

The article might take me a few days to write depending on my time (which hasn't looked good lately), but I'll get to it. My water gun physics article is postponed until I finish up the CPS homemade one.

Also, if you have questions about anything I have done and would like for me to write an article on it, feel free to ask.

Thanks man,

I would like to make a casing for the CPS chamber and I would like to know how to mount rhe pump in yhe back of the gun because it will have a cooler as the water supply and will ne mounted on A tripod.

Thanks,

Joe
