Other Blasters

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and I have a little request. I'm part of the Nerf Foam Dart community, The N.I.C (Nerf, Internet ,Community) and was wondering if any of you have any 'foam' dart blasters you would be willing to sell.

I know from our own community, that many of us have water blasters of many different makes and models that we use for modding or mod them to shoot foam. I thought that it may be the same case in your community with foam blaster.

I'm sure many of you know that a modded water blaster (to shoot foam) is more than very powerful!

The only Water blaster I own that is of any real worth is a CPS2700 which I obtained pretty recently. It's the first CPS blaster I've ever owned and it is a beast! I know that CPS blasters are very rare these days so I posted a sale thread here since I knew it would be more appreciated by this community. I haven't done anything to it other than clean it and fire water out of it.

Anyway, just wanted to see if there are any Nerf or Nerf type blasters that any of you are willing to offload.

Here's a pic I took of some of the water blasters I own... nothing special really.

I'm sure you can find buyers here for the Water Wariors Argon, the MI? Flash Flood, XXP 275, and maybe the Max-D 6000, depending on where you are (shipping).

However, nerf guns do not mod very easily into water guns without removing the nerf functionality, or at all. I'm sure there are some, but don't expect this community to have many that they wil sell.

I've never heard of any Nerf gun that's even remotely practical to being converted to a water gun. The parts and scale simply do not work; air chambers for shooting darts are far smaller than the sizes required to shoot usable amounts of water, so Nerf to water blaster conversions in the community simply don't exist. It's better to get a Titan or build a simple homemade, which, the simplest Nerf homemade one can build is quite easy to do.

I never really liked water blaster to Nerf conversions to be honest. The rate of fire is awful, and water blasters contain a lot of parts that are useless for Nerf and take the Flash Flood; it seems like such a roundabout way of doing things. You have a reservoir that's unused, you have a rubber bladder when you only need a small air chamber, and you have a pump that's not even designed to push a decent amount of air into the bladder. (It's not designed to push air at all, just water, in fact, one of my FF's pump seals no longer works when dry.)

Of course, with that said, many water warfare community members at least have a slight interest in Nerf. I have a collection of stock blasters but haven't invested much time to real Nerfing (i.e. mods, Stefans, homemades) and only use them for goofy indoor CQB games. It's fun, and I do repair my Nerf blasters as I'm able to (I've fixed two Mavs and one RF20), but I don't take it much farther than that. However, one of the members here is very well into Nerf and actually dodges much better in water warfare after Nerf experience. (Since darts travel much, much faster than water streams.)

I'm interested in the xxp 275 only, and I would offer $40-50 with shipping. (I'm in the states.)
