The superiority of the BBT guns in terms of range, power, and price over Hasbro soakers have long been proven, and the "super soaker" name means nothing anymore. Whatever, get what you want, I prefer performance over name but that's just me.

Yeah, I'm not trying to force an opinion on you, but you'll be happier just getting a water gun from Buzz Bee Toys. If it makes you feel better, the good Super Soakers were produced when the company was owned by Hasbro, before 2001 or something. Ever since then, the Super Soaker quality has been dismal and some employees went to BBT.

You mean owned by Larami, and that was around 2002, the last year the real super soakers were being produced. (or at least new ones coming out, just before hasbro shows what they're going to do w/ the EES guns of 2003)

Even the first year, though, the quality went down the tubes. That's when we got things like the CPS 4100 Mk.2 with the triggers that are sure to break, instead of the Mk.1 or the Monster.

I thought the 4100 mk II came in 2004 or so (in those soakertag boxes) as a re-release by hasbro. But true, power started going down after the initial CPS 2000 was released.
