Super Soaker Central

Well I finally found my 2 Xp270s in my shed. But discovered both have holes in the tanks on the back end. What is the best way for me to fix em. As I know these are quite nice gus.

How big are the holes? Are they directly exposed or covered up by the frame? If they're directly exposed, a simple gluing should do the job. Most of us use epoxy to do leak repairs.

well there enough to cause havoc for me. So exposy glue should do it. The holes are directley exposed. and thanks for the fast response.

Yeah, my XP 270 reservoir has a huge crack in it. I just used duct tape.

But epoxy should do the trick too. Absolutely no positive pressure is stored there, so a perfect seal is not necessary.

Yeah, if epoxy is too much trouble (especially if the crack is slightly large), go with tape. I just thought tape was a bit unreliable (especially over time), but as long as it can create a seal it'll do the job. (as said, it doesn't need to hold pressure)

Edit: I meant any kind of tape can peel off if given the time and carelessness.

Unreliable? It's duct tape!

Anyway, it really is your choice as to how you go about fixing it. My dad and I did try to use a soldering iron to melt the reservoir plastic and seal up the crack again, but that didn't really work. Duct tape or epoxy would do the job, and a bit of epoxy might look a bit nicer.

sorry for the late reply. It more of a hole then i crack not to big. Ill just get some Exposy and seal it up. Thanks for all the help.
