I'd believe that. Their shipping for the LRT is actually quite fast. Obviously, it depends on the location of the warehouse they ship from and where you live. I received my more recent order about a day afterwards and typically packages take over a week for me (for example, a recent order placed last Monday just arrived yesterday).

The pump is not the limit, rather, your arm strength is. I doubt you'll run into a problem if you did not have trouble with the CPS 2000's pump previously.

Congratulations! Good job on being one of the few to successfully repair/upgrade a CPS 2000 or any other CPS bladder. A new thread might not be neccessary, but it would definitely be easier for others to access. Once again, congratulations.

Good job! I can't wait for the pictures and a report on the performance. I'm mainly interested in a before-after comparison of performance because this might turn into a modification if the performance is still at the level of a CPS 2000.

LRT is the stuff you want, and most hardware stores will carry it. Try searching through their online catalogs, and see if they have it in stock or will ship to you.

Not a hardware store as such, but delivery and it is located withing the uk. The prices are reasonable considering you get 25' of tubing.

Which dimensions should I get?
3/8" ID and 1/2" OD?
Or 1/4" ID and 1/2" OD

3/8". Anything below that will really restrict water flow, and the extra pressure will be for naught. I don't have data to support this, but consider that the optimal nozzle size for a powerful water gun is usually about 3/8" itself.

It's probable that the CPS 2000 came with a bladder with a 1/2" ID; I wouldn't know, but it did have an extremely large nozzle diameter. So you could go for even larger tubing and layer more rubber on top if necessary.

The largest that place sells has an OD if 1/2"

3/8 inner, and 1/2 outer, because that should be the closest to the CPS 2000's bladder that you can find.

To get to CPS 2000 power roughly how many layers of bike tubes should I put on?

S.O.S....Have just done the CPS 2000 mk1 bladder repair, with the part from McMaster, recommended from the Wayne Schmidt's link (excellent by the way). Everything went ok i think, but it wouldn't pump all the way to the end, and when pulling the trigger, it struggled to release the pressure. Now it wont release the pressure by pulling the trigger, unless a manually pull the trigger by the pin my self, by having the inside exposed. Had everything apart trying to figure this out. Has anyone a clue, or had a similiar problem?. Regards Baycamjo
