Typo and broken link reports
typo report: in "Backpack Modification" - "On homemade water guns you usually attach directly to teh water gun with a tubing barb and a tubing clamp."
FAQ "typo": its not really a typo but either the question or answer should be reworded (the answer sounds copy/pasted for the question) "Q: How accurate are Super Soakers? A: Yes, water guns are fairly accurate, but using that accuracy is difficult. Because the streams curve to the ground due to gravity, conventional sights and aiming cannot be used. The most effective method of aiming involves firing a constant stream and directing it to the target."
i think either the question should be reworded to say "Are Super Soakers accurate?" or the answer should start with "Water guns are fairly accurate..."
edit again: a third typo(in FAQ): "How can I tell the difference between makes?" A: "Read our Makes Guide for detailed information..." isn't it the "Marks Guide" ?
another typo: 'What is a water gun?' "A water gun is a device that shoots a water, usually used as a toy by children" take the "a" out between shoots and water.

Re: SSC 2008
I've found a couple more typos. The first one is in the "Problems with current water guns" article.
Perhaps we should have a separate thread for all these typo reports.
Also in the main reviews section, the XP series is listed as Xtra Pressure when it should be Xtra Power. It's so seasy to lose a cap from today's Super Soakers
Perhaps we should have a separate thread for all these typo reports.

Re: SSC 2008
I'll go ahead and split these posts into a new thread if Ben isn't doing that right now (I think he is).
Drenchenator, Specter actually pointed out four typos in his post and edits...did you only see three, or did you fix all four?
EDIT: I fixed the typo you caught, sbell25. Once again, thanks!

I only saw two first, but then I saw him edit in the third. I got the fourth one done though. You should go ahead and splits the posts into a typos thread; Ben's actually working on something else site-related right now.
Edit: Oh, you already did. That was quick.

I already did split the thread. I guess you've noticed since you moved your post though.
I did see some updates to the backend.

Re: Typo Reports

The old page is probably still in your browser cache. If you're using Firefox, press F5 to completely reload the page again.

Re: Typo Reports
I just updated the pages from the database in case Drenchenator forgot (which I doubt he did). You should try pressing [Ctrl + Shift + R] to reload the page and skip the cache. Usually the browser saves recent pages in a cache and doesn't bother to see if the page has changed, but skipping the cache should change that.
EDIT: Nevermind, sbell25 beat me to it. I actually didn't know [F5] does the same thing. Use whatever's more intuitive for you.

Re: Typo Reports
Everything looks good on my end--sometimes it acts funky and doesn't actually update it until you force it to. Ben was actually working on this function in the content management system a few minutes ago which may account for part of the slow action.

Re: Typo Reports
In the Water Warriors Series Reviews page "Diaphram" should be spelt "Diaphragm". Also, the Hydra Pak is actually Spherical CPS, not Diaphragm.
In the main Homemades section:
-Description for Building a Homemade Beast: It says sbell25 lives in New Zealand, should be 'lived'.
-Description for The Ultimate Water Gun: The word "exagerate"
-Description for The Douchenator: The word "straighforward"
In the 'CPS bladder has hole or burst' article:
Also the "Xtra Pressure" typo in the main reviews section that I pointed out earlier, seems to have been missed.
In the main Homemades section:
More typos/inaccuracies on the same page:With the manufacturers making quality water guns, more people are choosing to build their own water guns every day.
In the Water Balloon Launchers FAQ:If the path doesn't seal the rubber then entire thickness
Also on the same page:Basic combustion potato cannons are never powerful than equivalent pneumatic cannons
There is an [add video] and a few [link here]'s on the SuperCPS page.theGas Gun Design Tool.
Also the "Xtra Pressure" typo in the main reviews section that I pointed out earlier, seems to have been missed.

Okay, thanks again--I think I got all of them this time, including the "Xtra Power/Pressure" one. If anyone notices anymore, don't hesitate to post about them.

Re: Typo Reports
If you have any broken links, report them here too. I've changed the title to reflect that.
I just fixed a few links in the reviews to repairs pages. Back during serious development, on some pages' URLs we used dashes and on other pages we used underscores. We later standardized to underscores, but some links weren't fixed.
Report [link here]s here too. I know there are some in SuperCPS, Supercannon II, the introduction, and maybe some of the FAQs, but I don't remember any others. I'm filling in these as the pages are added. It might be a good idea to remove them until the pages are made.
