My new blog is
Do a Low Split-S. This blog will be primarily water blasters for the time being, but will eventually be a mix of those, plus RC and whatever else interests me.
The name comes from the aircraft maneuver know as a split-s, in which a pilot flips over, then pulls down, turning the plane 180°, sacrificing altitude for speed.
I am unsure of how often I will post, but if you see a lack of posts, remind me, and I'll do a range test or something.

Could somebody post a comment to make sure they are working?

I highly recommend the Traxxas Stampede when decked out with RPM plastic parts. Indestructible does not begin to cover it. Just sayin'.
And I've used curbs to send it about as high as smaller r/c planes will go. (non-hobby grade)

A Stampede? It's a 2wd r/c monster truck that brought a certain company into the hobby scene of r/c cars.

That doesn't fly! I like planes.

It flies, just only when you attach some D model rocket engines.
(Speaking from experience, with a much less expensive but much heavier car.) Rocket boosted jumps are fun.

Lol. I really just like the mechanics of flight, and flying is superior to cars simply becase you have a whole extra dimension to mess with. In a car, you can change control speed and turn rate. In a plane, you control speed and turn rate, along with pitch and role rate. Double the fun. However, a car might be good for getting used to the reversed controls of the vehicle coming towards you.

I assume it's heavier, mainly because of the spectacular crash.
But I would have to try and find that model again, and I don't remember what the car looks like, only the pieces.

Do you have any pics of the pieces? I can identify it as hobby/toy grade and maybe even which model if it was hobby grade.
Checking the blog again for good measure.
