Hopefully you won't have to ever ask if there's a warrior near you again!

I got the idea from NH. Hopefully it will work correctly.

That's a good idea...I'll add my location when I find a suitable battlefield, be it large or small. Thank goodness they use Google for the mapping service--you don't have to wait for the map to load every time you move the window. I'd put a tag on my house, but I am just a bit too paranoid to do that...

What I did was pointed my marker to the center of town. If you zoom in all the way, you will see that it marks a street in the middle of the shopping district. Same for the Team entry.

Ha! Take that web predators! :p

Well, that's strange...I zoomed in all the way, and it took me to a bridge in the middle of a park. I assumed it was your home battlefield, but I might have been wrong after all. Thanks for reassuring me, though...

I will just add mine to the center of the city, too...why not?

Maybe you could put a marker for where the Northeastern Regional Water War and the tentative New England Water War will be, especially if the Northeastern one doesn't occur in Ridgewood itself.

EDIT: Uh...I just added in the local zip codes (there are many in this area), and it put a marker way out in the middle of nowhere (well, kinda close, but not too specific). Strange...

That's good satellite imaging. It's more or less possible to make out people.

I would put myself on, but it's demanding a login. (Or am I doing it wrong?) I'm cautious about signing up to just anything.

Regisering takes almost no information, just your desired username and password. I don't see a point in this other than a slight increase in security. I've put myself on there a while ago.

Wow...I was only the second marker, but now there are quite a few (14, I believe). Unfortunately, though, it seems as if the UK members are slightly out of the picture. However, it's probably still worth adding a tag, and as Monsoon said, it's just a simple username and password.

This thread would work well stickied, in Off-Topic, or in New Users.

That's because it was posted in 2006. We're going to have to find another solution for this and it would be helpful that we do so soon for the community plans we're making in the summer.

There's the Google Maps I made awhile ago, but one needs to have a Google account to add in markers.

If anyone knows of a better mapping application, I'm all for it!
