Another good site down the drain... this happens all to often. Sadly I don't have anything saved at all, but I'll see what the Internet Archive and Google cache has.

Wow, so many sites are going offline. Perhaps the owners gave up soaking after holding it out for a year or two, when there were no CPS blasters on the market. But, as long as SSCentral and iSoaker don't go down, we should still have a pretty large (or small, depending on how you look at it) fan base.

Bluesmudge is never on the forums any more. I think the soaker websites are all slowly drying up. I would make a website, but I don't know the first thing about making one for my own. :(

That's a senario I do not wish to speak of. I may have link to Bluesoak in my favorites, if so I will post it asap.

Edit: Just checked my favorites, I do not have it. Hopefully Ben will post a link.

I doubt siriously that iSoaker or SSCentral will go down, but I believe we may see several more sites go down, as the owners of sites like Bluesoak no longer post on any forum.

The Aquazone webmaster said he may shut down soon, because he is dissapointed with the new Supersoakers. Fortunatley the newer sites like Soaker Media, SSnation, your site, and the soon to be made webring will make up for the lost ones.

Post a link to a site that is down? The URL is http://www.bluesoak.com/ , but there's nothing there...

Budgie also has said in his news that hosting has been paid for the next year and AquaZone will stay for at least that. From what I've read, he's simply disappointed in the lack of quality in the past few years.

If I remember correctly, Bluesoak had a few tech articles, and it is dissapointing that Blue Smudge didn't build any homemades or continue into other areas of tech. I believe if you're dissatisfied with the current soakers, you won't be satisfied any time in the near future. Build some homemades!

Bluesmudge built a water balloon launcher. He also wrote some stuff about why you shouldn't go overboard modding.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, seeing how Bluesmudge hasn't been active in maybe half a year. Soakology and WGN were lost in the same way: their owners either let the hosts expire, stopped posting, or everyone forgot their sites. CAM, WGN, and the Waterbridge forum are still up, but badly forgotten.
