I just was shopping for soakers. We checked out Target, and saw the usual, the 2004 soakers and Water Worms. My older brother got the Liquidator and XP 215 pack just for the XP 215, the pack was $9.99 (and a rip-off of you ask me). It turns out that the XP 215 has better range and about the same shot time.

Then we went to check out Sports Authority to get some spikes for track. I remember someone saying that they had 2100s at their SA, but I wasn't sure. As we walked past this one aisle, I saw it. There they were, at the top of the shelves, a whole buttload of CPS 2100s. There seriously was a XPBackfire-esqueload. Must have been 20 or so. I then looked at the price: $9.99. I almost peed myself I was so happy. So my mom said she would buy me one, but wouldn't let me buy anymore. I was like "Ok" because it's free right? At the cash register we got even more lucky, because it was Memorial Day, the price was marked down yet again to $7.49. I should have bought a XPBackfire-esqueload to sell on eBay, but as I said, my mom wouldn't let me get any.

Basically, check out Sports Authority for soakers this year! Great deals on 2100s!

I Don't know if our Sports Authority will have them, but I will check. Its kinda strange Target Stores happen to be awefully close to Sports Authorities...

Will the 2100's be stocked at the whole chain or just a few local stores?
It would be great to get some more to mod. :Hey, that's funny.:

I think it might be all the stores. If it's in one then the chances are pretty low. But two, that's different.

Here's the post that I remembered about the 2100s being in Sports Authority if you want proof from another person. Get the 2100s while they last!

The closest one to me is in Worcester, MA, but that's a whole 45 mins. from me. And I already own a 2100 from KB toys left from overstock.

By getting 2100s at cheap prices you could make some great profits by selling via ebay. Also, I wouldnt mind having several k-modded ones for the whole team to use in the war. You can k-mod more powerful cps's but the 2100 isnt hard to mod.

That's something I noticed when I K modded my CPS 2100 with 30 balloons (I ran out). They are *really* easy to mod. And their design is strong. Guided pump, strong trigger valve, good screws, easy to open PC when compared to a 2700's, it really is nice to mod. The hardest part was prying off that pump cap thing, but once that was off everything else was very pretty.

Strange thing about the CPS 2100 and other soakers like it is it's trigger valve. It is much smaller than a larger soaker's one. My 2700's one must be twice as large. I think that's why it blew, the smaller ones must be thicker or something. The only problem is that the larger ones have a larger diameter of the tube coming from the PC, but I don't think that would matter much.

Hmm...$9.99? How much would it cost to send one to the UK, any idea? The CPS 2100 sounds like my kind of soaker...

I don't know. My mod said that she wouldn't let me buy another one there, but it's right by Home Depot (which also is about a block from Lowes), so next time I go homemade hunting I might just buy another one for you since my dad always takes me on those trips. If you can, do shipping calculations from Maryland, I don't want to give out my address on a public forum. You also could give me a link to something that could calculate it so I could do the work.

that was a completely pointless one-liner post. if you keep doing this, someone will go running to doom and be like "help some guy is making me feel unspecial!", and doom will come and be like "never do this again you sick child!" and warn you or something like that. not meaning to be hostile, im just telling you.

sure, his mom will be mad, but who cares. doom'll be like "hey mom Don't make me r/o you or ban you!" and his mom will yield to his demands.

I know you weren't trying to be hostile, Blaze, but he was just asking a question! You don't have to go and (semi) flame about it!

Edit: Spelling

well you must admit that post had a purpose. if he posted oneliners like that in other topics then he could quickly get in trouble. better to reinforce something new than to fix something broken (also applies to soakers).

Sorry about the double post ahead of time.

I got my 2100 just today (it has great power for its size, almost as powerful as my cps 4100) at my local Sports Authority. I said before that they were $14.99, but they were all on sale (not just today, but like...forever) for $7.49! The best value out there right now, even better than the $20 4100 on ebay. Even my mom said I shouldv'e gotten two of them!
