How good is the MX? I've never used one. It always seems identical to the 1700, ezcept the 1700 has a PC twice the size.

Oh, is there - I didn't find that. Obviously my search terms cut it out somehow.

A backpack on it's own? It seems a bit wierd, but I suppose you could switch between two backpacks

Kind of comparable to a 4100, although a slight bit better. Same nozzle selection. Despite what most say, the MX is amazingly light, when I first shot one I thought it was fake, due to the insane lightness. Not in the same league as a 1700, if you're currently using a 1700, don't switch.

Its mobility and Low pumps is the reason why most consider it far better in actual use then a Monster XL. The MX has also one of the easiest and most solid track mounted pumps which makes a huge difference in quick pumping. With the CPS 1500/1700 one always has to worry when pumping fast.
I would say that the nozzle selection on the MX is abit better than sthe CPS4100 since it has the additional 11.5X and the Diamond, while having also a 5X instead of a 2X. As for overall quality I would say its much better than the CPS4100 as in build, soakage (5x shoots like 7.5 X while 8X shoots like 10X...), power and shot time. Looks taken aside, the CPS4100 is closer to a CPS1000/CPS2100 rather than the MX. Thats how superior(in general terms) the MX is to the CPS4100. Although power whise, the CPS1700 still beats the MX.

I didn't really mean "same nozzle selection," I was thinking Monster 01 by accident. In combat, an MX vs 4100 duel is still pretty even, therefore I haven't really thought the MX to be much of a good gun. [Haven't fought an MX in a soakfest].

The MX is a prity good gun in a soakfest. The Diamond nozzle is probbaly one of the best for that gameplay. Good distance and a huge drenching spread with less than a 10X output. I never liked the Typhoon nozzle due to its short distance and its to whide spread that much of it gets wasted.

The 1700 is a medium CPS. The 1200 (or 1000) is a light CPS. The 4100/Monster 01 goes pretty much right in between those two. The 4100 has the extra nozzles but less PC capacity and tank size. I see the MX as going in between the 1700 and 2500 is class or size. Though, of course, I see the 1700 and 2500 as almost the same. When comparing the 1700 to the 4100, the 4100 has no advantages except more nozzles. The MX has more nozzles than the 1700 but less range, and a tiny PC (550 ml according to iSoaker) compared to the 900 ml PC on the 1700. The 1700 is clearly better than the Monster (2001) and MX, but I am not sure about the 4100 compared to the MX.

Another Storm pistol

There are a few Flash floods available as well for "Buy it now".

I never use ebay, so I haven't got bids on any of these.

There is a CPS 2500 for sale to the UK (£10 postage - UK only).

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Super-Soaker-CPS- ... dZViewItem

The bidding on this is between 2 people (looking at the bid history) and there are 17 hours remaining (Close at 1pm on the 24th March). It is running at £9.50 at the moment, so this could be a bargain.

You saw that too? I keep on wondering why they bid back. Don't they know anything about soakers?
