Actually the shipping cost from USA to UK is cheaper than from UK to USA. Some sellers can even ship it by groundmail(or boat to be more precise), to make it less expensive. Instead of waiting till someone in the UK puts a CPS soaker on ebay(the CPS 1-3-5 is XPBackfire-esque) , just buy a CPS 1000, CPS 1200, CPS 2100 or CPS 1500 in the next months on the US ebay. Those shipping costs are not as much like a MXL for example.Yes. Grr. The 'best' thing recently was a CPS 1-3-5 for about £13 inc. p&p. thats about $20-25...

Hence the quote marks around "best"! :Hey, that's funny.:
About your later comments, yes, I look very frequently on the US ebay for soakers, and was rather glum to see the latest 1000s go. Unfortunately, any emails I send (generally after I see no bidding taking place on an item - I feel then I'm in with a chance) just meet with refusal to ship to the UK.
What do you think is a reasonable p&p charge for a CPS?

Yeah, that would be good. I've forgotten - were we talking about any particular Soaker?Originally posted by DoomSoaker@Feb 22 2004, 09:13 AM
How about someone in th US buys it for you spinner, and then they mail it to you.
EDIT: Just noticed an SC600 on offer on eBay UK. Unfortunately it's in Germany, so shipping would be high. And someone else has bidded for it already.
SC 600
EDIT: WOW! Just look at what's available for a search on 'Super Soaker' on eBay Germany!
