Wow, that's the first time I've seen a SC 600 on eBay. Everything is way too expensive again, except for the SC 600. My homemades cost less. :Hey, that's funny.:

on other note, today was an awesome day, there's barely any snow left here. I will be more active in soaking now.

Please, do not call fake soakers bootlegs. That soaker is one made to look like a Super Soaker brand gun. A bootleg soaker would actually be one sold illegally, those ones are 100% percent legal. I know, I checked dictionary.com and I'm always looking for any bootleg CDs I can find.

As SuperStormer said, it's not a real CPS 1500. Real CPS 1500s have pump caps.

The real CPS1500 also have a nozzle switch and a bigger tank. Also, those fakes are sold for $4.99 at some online stores.

Yep. The CPS 1500 is a good soaker. On the field it is even better than a CPS 2500. Its just to bad that the CPS 1500 ahs such a fragile pump.

One of the easiest mods you can do is strenthening you pump. I don't think there is much room to mess up on this mod it's so easy. I'm going to put a pump mods article up eventually, but I'll tell you how to do it now. All you need is a pencil or dowel rod and a screwdriver. Take off the pump handle, and stick the rod in there. Your pump is now much stronger. I would have broken my 27000's pump if I hadn't done that mod.

What's a good price for a NIB CPS1700?

A good price would be about $20-$30, I don't know GPB. However, for most CPS soakers you'll likely pay at least $40. Way over priced, I would suggest checking out local stores first and using eBay as a last resort.

Although the exchange rate is not 1-1, in Britain you can expect to pay the same number in GBP. So that means, according to your advice, £20-£30 is a good price in Britain. Thanks. B)

granted that can be fixed with a little pvc and some creative epoxying...
