The only problem i had with the FF was the balance when you are running. Because it is an over-under style blaster it always seems unbalanced to me, and I drop it or fumble constantly.

I like the FF's balance; it fits its profile quite well. Then again, I've never had issues fumbling blasters before (except some Nerf blasters at a birthday party last April; I was really freaking tired that day and the end result was noisy and embarrassing, as the fully assembled Nerf Recon crashed onto wooden floors).

The only reason I fumble water guns is because they get wet, and when I turn sharply or do rolls, they often fall or move out of firing position (trigger finger slips)

I guess balance is all a matter of opinion. I'm not a huge fan of the over/under style, but it's a lot better than the balance and or bulk of some guns like the 2700. I like the balance on guns like the SC 600.

This thread has not had posts in 2 months.

Now that it has been revived though, I would probably ring my Iron Man Blaster (with strap). For backup, I would strap mod my MD6k and sling it onto my back. For last resort, I would carry my silent MD3k in its holster (need to finish this).

Oh, whew, for a moment I thought I was the one who dragged it up... I usually check dates of the post before mine but I didn't look far enough back.

Besides, this is the sort of post that's fun to string along! As time goes on you come up with better or alternate methods of tackling the same situation!

Also, as a reply to your earlier post, you will likely want a more easily used and reliable backup, such as a small XP.

i would take as much as i could cary, loading up like a packmule, and go set up at the base. i would defend the base, and provide arms for peoople on my team. i would also cary other peoples guns to the base for them, so they could take more guns in with them.

It is armament, not loadout. Do you actually enjoy waiting for the enemy? What would you take to move around?

What if it's a gametype where there are no bases used?

The original post mentioned a scenario with bases. But still, what would you do to attack?

I like the idea of water balloons as a backup. So, for this scenario, I'd say 12k and a bunch of water balloons (about 5 filled at a time).
