I think you should have a battle with yourself soon just to see what works, what needs fixing, etc. Whenever we have a war here, we always get a lot of ideas on how to run the unit better, how to fight better, etc.

When we had our first war there wasn't even a clear chain of command. there were no rules, everyone had unlimited lives, and we practiced linear combat. After 3 wars, the upcoming one this june involves rules, chains of command, stress on personal initiative within reasonable levels (I.e. don't do something stupid) we have "lives" based on dry/wet shirts, and combat is so delineated that even more probelms are popping up. Particularly mobility, intelligence, and effective tactics.

I really think you should do a small, experminetal war. Sitting around posting on the forum really won't solve the problems: experience will teach you what you need to know to get this group to work.

I completely agree with blaze. It's just a game guys. These things are little cleverly made toys that give kids like us pleasure. Not extreme war things with rules and XPBackfire-esque. It's just fun with water. Sure we're obsessed with them but we aren't having wars and manuvering and making teams with highly guarded bases and warlords. When I said "we" I meant us normal people.
Then why are you here
Why? Because we are sane people that like to have fun! thats why!

Actually at Waterbridge we do have wars, with manuevers, tactics, teams, bases, etc. all the elements of real warfare, just with water.

This week, I was in New Hampshire and had visted my friends that moved, we started a large war (for me)...

It all started when one of them pulled out a semi-broken CPS 2100 and started squrting his brother... I went into the garage to find more, sure enough, I found another 2100, two broken Splashzooka's, a SC 400 and a weird storm nozzle that goes on a hose.

we started a short, 5 on 2 war (they had way better guns). We won, we were somewhat dry, they were soaked completely. I used my first tactic, Sniping.

Cool.
And about tactics, and such.
I love organized water warfare, with tactics and such. Planning the entire thing is part of the fun. However, on mothers day, I had a huge battle that happened spontaniously. Slowly my entire armory was taken out. We had no rules, and it was stll fun. 3 hours of it.
