Does anyone know A good form of comm aside from the usual walkie-talkies?

in a line-of-site situation you can use hand signals or signal mirrors during the day. myself, I just prefer screaming FIRE AT WILL at the top of my lungs. god, I miss summer.

Yeah, I miss summer too. I personally never use walkie-talkies or anything other than talking. I never really need to becuase if I did, I'd run up to them.

Whoa, thats weird. I bet it's XPBackfire-esque though. I once tried to make an auto soak system that would soak someone once they passed the invisible trip line. I think I wrote something about it at the SSS, but I don't remember.

hmm... well, we've tried using whistles and horns, but only for generally calls to gather and stuff, since we're too small right now for major comm.

You could do what most people end up doing: Screaming the commands. That's what I do at least. ;)

I actually used to play clarinet, but it snapped in half. fortunately the mouthpeice is fine and I remember how to play that, so I'm thinking of using it as a group signaller.

Cool, good idea.
You know what would be real good? One of those bird whistles, the other team should just ignore the bird sounds, while your team listens for them!

Hey, that's funny., that'd be really cool

Yeah, but if there are birds around there your teammates might not be able to tell the difference.

Well, you could use a distinct bird signal, or do it if there are no birds. I think I'll try that, there never are any birds where I battle.
