UserID: 172 | I just K-Modded my CPS 1000 with about 20 balloons (it cost $2 for 15 balloons! expensive) so I didn't get to many and I'm probably going to get a new gun anyway because my CPS leaks. I shot it with 3 pumps and it got 32 feet. I shot it with 10 pumps and got a lil more than 35 feet. Are these good stats or not? Should I pump it more? Any kind of help is appreciated!

UserID: 83 | Hasbro reccomends pumping for 20-27 times, try it.

UserID: 1 | Those stats aren't realistic at all. A stock CPS 1000 should get over 40 feet range at 5 pumps. That is why it's constant pressure, but constant at a point, of course 1 pump is weaker than 2, it needs to fill the CPS chamber first. It should be getting range of about 45 feet with 20 balloons. It obviously leaks too much. I'd recommend sealing the leaks if you want to use that gun, after that it probably will work just fine. SSC's stats say it takes 22 pumps btw. ![]()

UserID: 187 | Dude, if you want I will buy your 1000, I really need one for next friday! Anyways, good luck with your K mod, I have a fully K modded 12000 and it has power! Just not enough range with my stupid nozzle though -_- |

I have one too! I put on 62 balloons and have done a valve freeze, I drilled the nozzle a TINY bit, and I get around 50-55 feet for about 1 second shot time.

UserID: 172 | I've tried sealing the leaks with a hot glue gun, where ever it leaked, but it didn't work. Someone want to help me out with fixing the leak? DirtJump how much you want it for?

UserID: 1 | I don't know how many times I have to say this, but hot glue IS NOT FOR PRESSURE. Use epoxy and see some actual results. ![]()

UserID: 94 | Did you drill the nozzle or not do a check valve freeze? Or did you measure the range when shooting at a 0 degree angle? Because your stats are WAY off. My friend's stock CPS 1000 (stock!) can shoot about 45 feet (stock!). I would use Plastic Welder for any leaks or cracks or reinforcements or whatever because I have used epoxy before and my opinion on it is that it sucks. Also, Plastic Welder is specifically for hard plastics and is 1000 PSI stronger than the strongest epoxy at my local hardware store (2500 PSI for Epoxy, 3500 PSI for Plastic Welder). Edit--I would never use hot glue for anything. Even when I check valve freezed my Cps 2100, I used Plastic Welder for the non-pressurized part. Even if hot glue is good when there is no pressure, well, from what I've used it for, it's not. |

UserID: 187 | Hows $20 shipped? I'm flat broke right now aside from my $20 I got yesterday. I love the 1000's campactness and potential. I hope these leaks can be fixed ![]() |

UserID: 172 | I got new stats on how it shoots: I pumped it 25 times and shot with the wind at my side, so it pushed the water to the left, I got 40 feet. Then my brother got his out and pumped it 25 times and I pumped mine 25 times and shot... mine went about 2-4 feet farther than his. so I guess it helped, because before it shot the same as his. Well, I got some new glue to fix the leak, it says it works for plastics and is water proof. where should I put it at?

UserID: 94 | If you K-Modded with 30 balloons and a Check Valve Freeze (did you do the check valve freeze?!!), it should go 60 feet, not 40! Either you suck at modding, you're measuring wrong, or something, because a 5 foot difference compared to stock is total XPBackfire-esque. |

UserID: 1 | Uhh, what are you smoking, 60 feet with 30 balloons? I don't think so. 30 doesn't even need a check valve freeze. 30 on my 2100 gets like 45, and from what I know the 2100 and the 1000 are pretty much the same deal internally. Maybe 80 or 90 balloons would go 60 feet, but no one has gone that high (yet).

UserID: 94 | Really? 30 on my 2100 made it so I could only pump twice without the check valve releasing pressure. I used "Pearlized Balloons" that are shinier and cost more (they were the only 12" balloons my drug store had). Could that make a difference? Because without my check valve freeze the 2100 could go around 45-50 feet with two pumps. |

UserID: 131 | Its worth check valve freezing and putting on 60-70 balloons on a 2100. Duxburians 21k had so much kick back that it was almost flying out of my hands! If you have a cps 2100, do a large k-mod! It's amazing! ![]()
