The CPS 4100 is not easy to get. If Amazon and 3 of my local TRUs are out then they are rare once again. I live in the Metro-Detroit area and I haven't seen any yet. If anyone can still pick up a CPS 4100 at their local TRU please let me know. I really want one.

Thats because youve only looled at stores and the such. Forget Amazon. There are several 4100's on Ebay and I Don't even remember one day where there were none posted for bidding. If you can use ebay then you can easily get a 4100. If you can't, then call your TRUs and see when and if they are re-stocking.

My friend has a Monster and a Splashzooka. While over at his house I used the Splashzooka (just a small 2v2 game of CTF, we didn't have much time) and it seemed to work fairly well -- light, no pumping, decent range. Does anyone here have personal experiance with this gun? Did the manufacturers discontinue it for a good reason? Thanks.

Well, from the pictures that I have seen, the Splashzooka has terrible range and a thin stream. I might be wrong, but I think that it is an overrated gun, and the only plus is that it has a 65 oz PC.

Yeah, but it seems like it might make for a good scouting/recon weapon. The range isn't that bad, bad the stream is a little weak. I was also considering the CPS 2100. It seems good for the general purpose waterfight.

I'm going to get 2 CPS 2100 first if both 4100 and 2100 are avalible where ever I go to get my gun. But if they aren't avalible I'm probably going to get a 2004 line gun. Which gun to you recommend getting, Hydroblade or Triple Agresser? I might even get a Water Warrior gun, which one do you recommend from WW? Thanks for the help everyone who has helped!

I don't have personal experiance, but the reviews seem to indicate that the Hydroblade is not a good gun. The 3A is mediocre. I would recommend the CPS line. It seems some are better than others for certain tasks, but in general you cannot go wrong with the CPS line of blasters. There is some debate about Monsters, but if you are just looking to begin an arsenal then you shouldn't be getting those just yet.

Good luck!

Ok, I went shopping and got a Tripe aggressor (there was no 4100 or 2100, that pissed me off) and I also got a Vaporizer. I got the Vaporizer to use as a secondary weapon before a pistol, and surprisingly it was quite good, I was please with it. It fired a bunch and shot at good range quiker, I made a strap for it along with the 3A. I liked the Vaporizer, but the 3A wasnt Medicore like Phantom had said. Thanks for the help everyone!

Don't waste your time with anything less than the CPS 2100, or 4100. The new soakers are XPBackfire-esque. There are still 2100s floating around, get one while you can.

For one things the new guns arent XPBackfire-esque, they can be modded to make something good, the liquidator is a awesome backup. And I like to use the vaporizer as a secondary weapon. it's a underrated gun. even tho it can't compete with the CPS guns, its small, doesn't way much and easy to carry, so win my CPS 10k runs out of water I can use it to stall of enemy. It can get a lot of shots off with decent range. the only draw back to that gun is it has bad aim. Plus with DoomSoaker's new mod I can turn it into a CPS basically.

Sky I didn't mean to offend you, as I see you own some new models. The Triple Aggresor looks like the coolest one. My point is that the CPS 2100 is still available for cheap, and it romps all over the newer models.

I don't know how many times I have to say this, but it's pumping is terrible! It pumps way too hard and not even effectively. It's also much more work than you have to do. I would rather pick up a CPS 2100 than get a Vaporizer, even with that mod.

Why do you never capitalize I? I've been wondering.

Grab a CPS 2100, it's cheaper, probably has better power, and shoots farther than the CPS 4100. You can always get the CPS 4100 on ebay for about $30 plus shipping if you just can't do without one.
