already happened for me. I jumped up and clicked my heels :Hey, that's funny.: just kidding. actually they held us for a minute or so more, they were doing a slide show.

I'm going home and going to sleep. 3 more days... I need to make the best of my summer since it's only 2 months long. That from what I know is the result of adding a few weeks worth of religious holidays to the calender and starting the school early yet again. I think it's mid August now that I'm going back. Frederick County from what I know is a lab rat, because they test all these bullXPBackfire-esque education XPBackfire-esque on us. Graduation is several times harder than it was a few years ago, now volunteer work is required (what an oxymoron) and I have to do something similar to a Boy Scout Eagle Project to graduate. Good thing I'm in the scouts and my real Eagle Project will count (or should). There also is a whole bunch of required classes that are like job training, I think they should spend more time educating the kids than turning them into money machines. My school system finally started to see drops in scores after they changed the time school starts to 7:30 and made many busses arrive much earlier to save money. I get to school on average around 6:50, once I got there at like 6:40 *shutters*. I know I spend around one hour a day at school sleeping. I'm just glad school is almost over. My superintendant just quit btw, I think the future is going to be better for me. Only time will tell though...

but anyways yeah that is on oxymoron.... required volounteer work... hah! glad my district doesn't require that. odd though, the superintendent's son is our assistant principal :blink:.

My high school starts at 7:47, goes until 2:58. The earliest Ive been there is 6:30.
NJ law requires 180 days of school. I have 185, 188 next year and back in middle school there were 192. What is the point of that? I Don't get out until June 23! :angry:
